Didn’t find much about this place on the forum yet.

Any feedback from people who stayed there? Looking to book their executive deluxe as it has a bathtub on the balcony which sounds fun.

How is that area these days? Soi7 getting back to life a bit more?

I stayed in that type of room for a week. It was good, though the bathtub on my balcony had a faulty drain stopper.

Bed is comfortable, staff are great, breakfast is good. The short version is that I enjoyed my stay and would consider staying there again.

I stayed there for one night in December for the one night quarantine waiting for my PCR test results.

Its part of the Flipper Group and I most likely would have stayed a few days longer if I hand't already book and paid for an other hotel for the rest of my stay.

New, good staff and the included breakfast.

Back in December, not much going on in the Soi 7 area.

Haven’t more bars opened up on soi 7 by now? Saw some being promoted on the PA line group.

Difficult decision then. Both hotels look good so will depend which area is the most fun to stay.

A few more bars may have opened but the Soi is still incredibly quiet with large sections still closed which makes the Soi not very inviting.

The hotel looks kind of cool.  I tried to check out the rooms' prices and availability and the website locks up pretty bad.

For pricing, check Agoda. 🙂

Like I previous posted, I stay there back in December and was very pleased with the stay.

Based on you posting I just did a search both on their website and a few of the booking sites.

I could move around all of them without any problems.

I was helping a friend to book there because for whatever reason wants to stay on that Soi for his first trip to Pattaya.

Is this still the case? seemed pretty loud when I was there last week. Shooters had some nice talent

I popped In there recently to check it out for a mate. The lady at reception wasn't overly welcoming. She showed me the rate card below, the prices on the right are the costs, not sur what the full rate section is for..

I wouldn't call it "incredibly quiet". Been around the beer bars sort of mid soi quite a bit recently. Not exactly jumping, but good fun. And I've seen some ladies around I wouldn't mind getting to know if it wasn't for my new regular (who's the main reason I go there.)

It has got a bit busier since I posted that in early August, the music volume at the top of the Soi around shooters has certainly been ramped up! Some more bars have opened up but there are many still closed. There are probably more ladies than customers, but none so far that have managed to drag me in!

Who is here in 2025! Gosh looking back at the post during the C Times and sounded grim reading this all again. Just wondering if there are any further recommendations staying here and if the place charges for joiner fees, outside of a two person booking?

I have stayed at Flipper House before which was ok for the price but needs a lot of improvements with some basics. But cannot complain about the very helpful staff there who were brilliant and looked after me on a solo trip. Decor is a bit dated which I sort of like but the rooms could do with modernising.

I recently stayed at this hotel.

I heard from other reviews that there's hardly any noise from Soi 7, but the Suite Seaview room I stayed in had a structure that was vulnerable to external noise (most of the walls are windows).

I thought it wouldn't matter when I checked in, but there seems to be a bar nearby that operates until 5 AM.

The room's overall condition was good, but the bathtub located outside requires you to be naked when using it. The same goes for showering. There's no privacy.

I'd recommend avoiding the Suite Seaview room.

I stayed at Blackwoods for one day last week and nothing to complain about. The staff was nice enough to check me in after a short wait even though I landed up way way early at 830am. While I waited I took a long walk down Beach Road which I should say is a huge plus for this hotel i.e. easy access to a nice early morning beach walk. The balcony was very weirdly shaped, like a wedge but it didn't matter as I didn't use it.

There is a massage shop right opposite and it was pleasant to wave to the girls from my balcony while they shouted "Welcoooome" 😁
Breakfast was decent, no complaints there.
I couldn't make out any noise in the night, either I was too drunk or it's well soundproofed. It was a Soi 7 facing room.
