Hi. Just back from a far to short 1 week trip staying at August Suites.

Thoughts on the hotel.

Booked about 6 weeks before departure through hotels.com

Superior Room 2 Adults, non smoking, King bed, Balcony.

Price £180.18 7 nights.

Decided on this hotel after reading good reviews on here and other web sites.

Lage gym room with treadmills and bikes. Never used personally.

Very nice pool with bar area on second floor

So thoughts on the hotel

Would i book again yes

Were the staff helpful very. I arrived at 10.30 am which i knew was early and they did there best to get the room ready by 12.00

The position of the hotel is in my opinion is great as its almost on the corner of central road and second road.

5 min walk down to beech road for a baht bus to Walking Street, 2 min walk to the end of soi buakhao which is in my opinion the best area at the moment

as you can drink there and also LK Metro.

Things i didn't like.

500BT for extra guest

no tea coffee in room

and for the first time they didn't phone the room when your guest left.

All in all the hotel has every thing you need is clean reasonable quiet and in a great position.

I booked April Suites and inevitably was transferred to March hotel. So walking from hotel to pattaya klang I stumbled on the location of August Suites which is a far better location but was booked out at the time. Good prices too so my next visit will be between the August Suites and the more expensive Areca Lodge which again I stumbled upon when I was heading off to LK Metro.

Ah the memories..........

March is actually a better hotel, not as spacious but way better aircon and decor

its a good 3 minute walk to pattaya klang and maybe 2 minutes to 2nd road

thats the only fault id have with March hotel

I have a Problem..... I just can't decide if its a good problem or a bad problem...

The hotel looks good but 500 baht joiner fee is something I would not like to pay daily.

I'll probably email them directly and ask or can anyone confirm here?

As far as i'm aware, the 500b fee is ONLY  for 3rd guest. Pretty much a standard fee for most nicer hotels

  • 2 weeks later...

I stayed at August Suites 6 times. but no more!!

they dont have king size beds . they put 2 double beds together and the gap between 2 beds makes me very uncomfortable when sleeping. also they use satin bed sheets that makes me sweaty all night.

their location is perfect and I love their pool but I choose March hotel instead of August Suites. they have perfect king size bed and cotton sheets

Cannot confirm that negative experience. Never had a problem with two single beds put together. Always had proper king size.

Any confirmation on joiner fee?

Btw, it looks as though there is a long dark, deserted alley to reach March hotel.  Not sure I'd want to walk down it at night.
