Birmingham - Dubai - Bangkok. Luggage between flights!

My last flight was late arriving in Dubai, then the plane parked in 'outer Mongolia'!! Had to get to the terminal by bus then run all the way. At xray just beg someone in a suit and he'll take you to the front of the queue.... I just made the flight.... baggage arrived in Bkk no problem

It’s worth knowing that if you arrive a little pressed for time at your connecting airport ‘the system’ will know this and will often delay the departure of the next leg to account for those in this situation. As bags and people don’t travel separately for security reasons, airlines will try to avoid unloading your luggage and the cost of organising another flight for you.
