Etihad Check in Baggage.

 Can't find the answer to this on the net, or speak to someone from etihad customer service.Can you check in two bags in the UK ,as long as its under 30 kg.or is it one only in economy.

Hi, I have just returned on Etihad today and have my printed check-in docs.  It says for economy class you can check in as follows  :

 

'Bags with a total not exceeding 30kg'.

'Items should not exceed the dimensions of 45cm x 72 cm x 90cm.

 

Looking at check in today, I believe you could take 5 bags as long as they don't exceed 30kg in total.

 

No problem at all with 2, just watch the sizes and total weights.

Checked baggage allowance

Baggage that exceeds the weight limits and dimensions shall only be processed through Etihad Cargo.

 

Dimensions:

Flights to/from the US, Canada and Brazil: 

158cm (50 x 70 x 38)

Flights to/from all other destinations:

207cm (45 x 72 x 90)

Even if you choose to exceed your baggage allowance (at additional cost), each item must not exceed 32kg.
