BTS to Mor Chit, there's a free shuttle service available from there but I've never used it to get to Impact.  I take the taxi, costs around 150 baht I think.  I use the free shuttle to come back to Mor Chit.  Admission to the show is 100 baht.

Yes, when I attended in years past, a taxi was economical and timely.
