If your flight LANDS 3 hours late or more you are entitled to compensation if:

It left from an EU airport, regardless of where the airline is based,

Or if it lands at an EU airport AND is an airline based in the EU.

Claims can be back-dated for up to 6 years.

does anybody else think like myself that this could be bad news for air passengers as prices must go up to cover for compensation claims

another worrying thought ,if there is a slight mechanical fault will airlines be

tempted or pressurised to keep to schedule to avoid claims?
