A possible trip to Perth looms next year (autumn/winter).  If it materialises, I'd like to combine it with onward travel to Sydney/Melbourne and maybe Canberra to see some old Oz mates.

 

Before I get deep into consolidator/airline web-sites, I'd be grateful for any advice about best deals and airlines, especially for the BKK-PER, PER-BKK legs.  Given the distances involved, would it make more sense to look for an open jaw BKK-PER-[other places]-BKK ticket?
