So many places called View Talay......anyone have info on this one?

I have access to this property via a timeshare exchange, but I cannot find any real first hand reviews.  It seems the address is right next to another property, or sister property with almost the same name.

 

The place I am seeking information on is

 

View Talay Holiday Resort, located at :

Jomtien 2nd Road
Nongprue
Banglamung, Chonburi 20260 
Thailand

The sister property seems to have private pools for each unit, but this one does not.  I have tried to call but not been able to get anyone who speaks really good English to understand my questions.

The View Talay (VT) Holiday Resort is physically located inside the View Talay Villas compound.  Here's the contact info the VT Holiday Resort had at the front desk (you may already have it):

The timeshares are in a two-story building at the end of a soi...pretty quiet area.  No pool, but you have access to the View Talay Villa community salt water pool. Rooms look very similar to the View Talay Villa rooms.

 

There's a Kiss Food and Drinks, Rompho market (with many Thai food carts) and Rompho Beer Bar complex (50-60 bars) next door to VT Villas.  Across the street (Jomtien 2nd Road) there are numerous beer bars and restaurants on Sois 5 and 7;  Soi 6 has all the "special" massage shops.  You can catch the baht bus to Pattaya at the end of Soi 5 and Jomtien Beach Road (200 meter walk)...it's about a 5 minute trip to Walking Street.  There are also plenty of motorsi taxis available across the street from VT Villas in front of the 7/11...60 baht to Walking Street.

BTW -- View Talay Villas / Timeshare is a different company than View Talay Condo.  The location of View Talay Villas is very decent, and the beach is just 5-10 minutes.  Except for the horrible floods in the front of the compound on the street when there is a rain.
