Nova Gold or April Suites

Hey all....looking between these two hotels for my stay...I have ruled PH out because of all the bad I've read about it. So What's better on Nova or April? Girl policies....staff.....etc

I have never stayed at April...so obviously won't comment on there.

 

Nova Gold is an excellent hotel...quite simply the best value 4 star hotel in Patts.

 

+ top quality classy rooms

+ nice modern bathrooms

+ balcony

+ guest friendly

+ spotlessly clean

+ guest friendly

+ welcoming and helpful reception/security

+ free golf buggy to second rd/BigC/Pattaya Klang/Second rd

+ gym

+ next to Jamesons Irish bar (great food)

 

- pool area gets no sunshine

- location doesn't suit everybody

Nova Gold, golf carts aside, middle of nowhere!??

Location of Nova Gold is next to many other hotels - Amari Suites, KTK, Nova Spa and @Mind. Next door to Jamesons  irish bar 7-10min walk from second road and Soi6. While it isn't the "middle of nowhere", it won't suit those who end their nights at Walking St. If however you like Soi 6 and drinking street its fine.

Seems a great hotel but just lacks those 'instant' transport options.

The location doesn't bother me. I looked it up and have no problem walking to 6 or 7 and catching a baht bus to WS. May as well get my exercise in while I'm in.

April Suites wins my vote better location

Both good hotels good value
