Top Guest Friendly hotels in or around Walking Street?

Right, it's been well over two years since I was in pattaya, and during my stay last time I only stayed in the Green view hotel. Although it was perfect location, guest friendly and reasonably nice rooms, I missed having an outdoor pool to lounge about in every now and again! So my question is, what are the best hotels p, with outdoor pools + guest friendly in or walking distance form Walking Street? Budget no more than 2000bht a night... Any helps appreciated, cheers! Also any tips on similar hotels in or around pat pong in Bangkok would be helpful!

Why does it have to be that close?

 

Plenty of good hotels that meet those needs, and only a short walk to a baht bus to WS..

Why would anyone want to stay near Walking St?

 I couldn't imagine anything worse.
