Man climbs Communication Tower and threatens to jump off.

 

On Wednesday Afternoon, Police, Fire Rescue and Sawang Boriboon Rescue Workers made their way to a Communications Tower in Soi Chayapreuk in Jomtien after reports of a man climbing to the top of the Tower and threatening to jump-off, were received. Arriving at the scene, the Fire Fighters prepared their ladder and mechanical cage in preparation for a rescue. It took 4 hours for the man, Khun Winai aged 35, a construction worker from Bangkok, to be persuaded to climb down from the Tower. Suffering from exposure and exhaustion, he was taken to Hospital where he told reporters that he had come to Pattaya to search for his Girlfriend who was working in a Beer Bar. He was unable to locate her and became depressed to the point where he wanted to take his own life. He is now in the care of friends and family who will help him through this difficult time in his life.

I saw this happen since its not far from my home..He was up there and definately under stress..It took a large cherry picker to get to him..A large crown had gathered and Im happy he didnt jump..He should forget this girl,,,
