Mines varies as I don't have a particular place I'm loyal to pick over any other venue. I've started my nights all over the place from bars on soi 7, myth night, tree town (to include the cocktail truck on the corner), mit, buakhao, honey, Diana, etc. I've started an afternoon on LK Metro getting a bite to eat at craft cottage that dragged on until the early evening checking out bars there. My last planned starting point that I can remember I had, was one of the bars at the front of myth night that's closest to Hilton. Forget the name of the bar, but, my buddy and would always meet for a beer or two prior to venturing elsewhere. Looking to start my night out in jomtien on my next trip in a few months as I've only been out there less than a handful of times.

Palm Beach is definitely a good bar. Being the best bar is subjective to the person so I'll leave at that. Had fun in there on my last trip and it's one of the most spacious bars I've been in. Plan on checking out the 2 nasty babe station right across from it next trip. Looked decent enough and had a good looking girl in there the night I stopped by palm beach.

I wouldn't stay in BKK for one night. I'd head straight to Pattaya. Just don't see the value in a one night stay there. I would plan for a few days in BKK, 3-5, and go to Pattaya after however. Or go to BKK on my last few nights there for ease of getting to the airport.

Believe Hemmingway on Soi Honey has NBA when it's on. Seeing as it's playoff time, it may be showing it.

Not that I'm aware of. I've only driven past one gaming cafe on third road whenever I come into town as that's usually a way my taxi goes. Think it'd be pretty cool if they did have the racing car set up. Actually that's not a bad idea. Open up an indoor racing car cafe with the rig to go. Something to do to break up the monotony during the day instead of the usual, take a girl to play pool at many of the pool halls around town. Eh but back on topic, I'll have to poke my head in to the gaming cafe if I see it on my next visit in a couple of months.

Apologies, Role Playing Games = RPG, Massive Multiplayer Online = MMO, and MMORPG is the combination of the 2. I am sure there are others, however, those are the ones I am familiar with.

Usually RPG/MMO/MMORPG or varieties as well as your Call of Duty, Battlefield, Grand Theft Autos. Believe it or not, there are huge competitions for these type of games.

Not putting off my trip in August, however, have seen flight prices go fluctuating, now slightly coming down but not by much (depending on what class fare you're flying). Definitely took a liking to low season when I visited years ago. Hotel prices in my favor compared to high season, though, I have fun in both seasons.

I have days off to not get in the burnt out stage. By days off it could be anything rather than going out from sun up to sun up (literally from sun up one day to sun up in the early morning hours the next). I find it helps me recuperate better than day after day after day of drinking and partying. Usually for the days I'm not in party mode I drink a lot more electrolytes and just take it super easy with an occasional beer or so in the later afternoon. I find myself not having girls over as much as well. For me everyday doesn't have to be a party day and I'm good with that. So I believe that helps with me not getting burnt out. To add context, I'm usually there 2 weeks, with my longest stint being a little over 3 weeks. And with that 3 weeks, I had a few days in Phuket.

Never had it happened to me in that instance, though, I've had a guy hit on a girl I barfined at another bar we went to. She told him that she was with me and long story short, we ended having a beer at the end of it. Think it's a grey area when it happens as the OP described. While not illegal, definitely frowned upon, and ultimately, it'll be up to the girl. If it was to happen to me, don't see any reason to get upset about the situation. I think logically and not emotionally and that would be the last time I spoke to the girl, don't care how good looking she is.

Nope, not new. It has been reported in TPN previously as well. They target just about anyone with different versions of the scam, e.g., going bald, bags under the eyes, weight loss, etc. It's wild that people still fall for it.

While it's subjective, for me and my experience, Republic and Myst are usually the better of the options. I used to like going to 808 and Flexx, however, not so much anymore. While I don't go to walking street as much as I used, if I do venture down, it's usually Republic or Myst. Pretty good vibes, overall atmosphere and good music. I get it every night is a Saturday night, however, the actual weekends tend to be super busy or at least they were. Would recommend those two before any others.
