Do gogo bars issue phones to girls?

I have been calling my girl friends cell phone and it is impossible to reach her.
When I met her she was working as a ber girl at a pub type bar Soi Metro,
Just before I left she mentioned one of the girls that worked with her was quitting to work at a go go.
Her explanation why it is hard to reach her is, job gave her a phone to use when she works.
She goes onto explain that she leaves her personal phone in her room when working.
So I am asking do the go go issue phones to track girls when they are with customers?
