Intercontinental Hotel Pattaya

Earlier this year had an opportunity to use the annual free night for the IHG Rewards program at the Intercontinental hotel Pattaya.

Frankly a bit too far removed from the action on Walking Street or LK Metro, which is part of the Pattaya experience, But it is close to the gentlemen clubs like Kinneree near Jomtien.

Since I was alone, and only one night, did not bring a girl to this room. Not really sure it would have looked to classy bringing a beach road or gogo girl through the lobby.

It is a nice room, attention is in line with a 5 star resort. and the grounds are awesome.

Anyways, enjoy the pictures. It is a nice hotel.

Ugly tile color in the bathroom. How big is the shower? Looks tiny in your photos.

Thanks for posting.  Intercontinental hotels are nice.  Stayed a weekend at the one in Hua Hin earlier this year, had a great time.

I LIKE 5 STAR hotels BUT I RECKON THEY ARE A BIT POINTLESS IN PATTAYA. THEN AGAIN IT WAS FREE.

Just looked at the prices of this place and got scared off, the interior decor looks very tired for a 5 star resort.  I mean really, who chose green tile and cheap looking wood trim?  Too many nicer looking places for the money, but glad you enjoyed your free stay.

stayed there a few years ago for 2 days when it was owned by a different hotel chain really top end

I stayed there a few years ago when it was the Sheraton (i think) Totally girl friendly. Had a great time.
