Hi all

I have just moved to Jomtien after living in Bangkok for some years. I am really impressed with the Songthaew system here, but note that the information on the Net is incomplete. My idea is to create a map and a listing of routes to help members. If others can post accurate details of routes on here, I will gradually create a map and then post it.

The current Internet links seems to only note the original routes, whereas I know there are routes on Pattaya Tai, Soi Buakaew, and Thepprasit.

If any such thing already exists, please let me know.

Cheers

I hope you are successful in completeing this - having just moved here as well from BKK, I agree that a good map of the rotes would be very useful. I don't like driving and am reluctant to take motorcycle couriers everywhere. My Thai is limited, so this transport system is great - cheap and safe. Just need to know where to get on and where it goes.

Good Luck

Thanks for the comment.

Routes I know of now are:
1. Loop route from Pattaya 2nd Rd, to Dolphin roundabout, along Beach Rd, completing the loop by going up Pattaya Tai (South Rd).
2. Up and down the full lenght of Thepprasit Rd
3. Up Pattaya Tai (South Rd) to Sukhumvit Rd, but I am not sure how this route loops
4. Up and down the full length of Soi Buakaew - again, I don't know the full extent of this loop, but I know the songthaews turn down Pattaya Tai and go as far as Pattaya 2nd Rd

Please add any info you know
