get bar girls from soi 7/8. Long time 1000 baht, 300 baht bar fine. Also good place to start drinking as alot cheaper thsn Walking Street bars. Walking Street bars expect to pay 2000 all up for a long time. Go gos higher 3000 plus bar fine 700. If u want glamours for short time n fun Soi 6 is the go

Agreed start off around Soi 6 - get your confidence up - if it costs more than home - move on - just keep your wits about you and ( besides the girls) don't do anything daft like you wouldn't do at home and you will be fine !

If anyone knows of a group or way to find a male travel companion for my first time to Pattaya I'd appreciated it. I'm a 60 year old but still much younger in many ways and never been but it's on my Bucket list. 

Take a stroll on Soi6 and go to a few bars, buy a few lady drinks, then take a walk down beach road, (towards walking street) and have a drink at a few bars on Soi7 & 8. Don't be shy to ask bar girls about barfines and short/longtime prices and get a feel for the place. It's easy to fall in love a million times in Thailand, so don't fall for or go with the first girl you meet, I'm sure there will be another stunner just around the corner.

The FLB bar on Walking Street used to take groups on a bar and agogo tour twice every month with different venues each month at no cost to members, an absolute fantastic time and excellent insight to some good bars and clubs other wise missed.

 

Also try the Cherry bar on Soi 8, Adam the proprietor organizes great 'night life' tours. 

what date are you going? I will be be in Patts in August. Its my first time to Thailand have had 2 trips to Philippines under my belt though. I constantly read the threads on this site to try and absorb as much info as i can. If we are in Patts at same time we should catch up for a beer or 3!!
