I wish somebody had posted some remarks to your blog.   I was in Vung Tau in 1968 & 69, pretty lively city back then.   I think about going back a lot, but been told prices are very high for mongering in Vietnam these days, especially Saigon (HCM City).   Just not sure, as nobody really post anything about these places, mongering blogs or much of anything (that I can find).   I hope you post a 'Trip Report'.   Good Luck & Have a good time  

Looks like now I may not go until after Tet in February. Will post a trip report if I do anything note worthy (smile). Happy Thanksgiving to all of us in sunny Pattaya.
