The scales fall your  off eyes after a couple of visits if you are an intelligent, decent, person and then you get to see Thailand for the shitty third world dump it is.  But although you understand this there is no where else to go for such fun particularly if you are a sex addict.  The grinding poverty and corruption is a machine for turning girls into prostitutes plus Buddhism is an amoral value system where everything is the fault of the last life or can be resolved in the next life. Their education system is designed to keep them stupid so don't blame them. The Hi So educated ones are the worst.  The best are the Lao and Khymer Issan people who are not really Thai and would better of with Thailand.

I seen Thailand develope tremendously over the decades. There still is a large gap between the rich and poor but I have seen people sleeping on the streets in wealthy countries too.. Every country I have visited has Temples and prisons. Enjoy the journey and if you have little to share, share a smile.

No it was not like that ..., till laaMok landed in Pattaya and started pattaya addicts forum ..,, it took off .... More people came to Pat .., even then ... LaaMok was not satisfied ...., so he upgraded the forum ... Same result ..., more Falang turned to pattaya .., one would say LaaMok would be content now .., but NO ...,, he is off again and this month upgraded the servers etc ..., so you can blame LaaMok ( who,s story you can read on the forum ) can easily be blamed for turning this fantastic sleepy kind of village / city ( in between village and city ) to this bustling 24 hrs fun city ..,,, ahhhhhhhh how I miss those good old days ...,, AND ...IT'S ALL HIS FAULT .
