We used to stay at the AA on Soi 13 think 3 yrs in a row. We're a couple but enjoy ST 3somes with the girls and the last time we stayed there they introduced this 300 baht crap even when the girl was only in our room for a couple of hours.
We also thought the rooms were looking tired and in need of a good refurb, also thought they were really dark at night all that dark wood and piss poor lighting.

Stayed four years on the trot now at sandy spring also on Soi 13 and it's great. Nice seaview superior room 1600 a night if you get the members discount card for 300 baht good for a year. Also really friendly staff very girl friendly and no 300 baht extra a night when you bring a girl back.

Back out there in just under 3 weeks and staying there again.

I would recommend April Suites. New, very nice bed, good location, girl friendly, fantastic staff. Have stayed here many times, and keep coming back

Diana Inn is good too ,soi Diana ,from 850\900 to 1500 for a suit overlooking the pool .. Top Breakfast !!

Check out Royal Twin Palace hotel (opp Marriott). On the Baht Bus route 2nd Rd, 10 mins walk to Walking Street, quite, big rooms, king size bed, great views overlooking Pattaya, ocean etc, and very girl friendly; all for 1200B.

There is a brand new hotel in Soi Bukhao I think it is call Blue Ocean or Ocean Blue there is a thread about it in the hotel forum, it has an opening special on for 800 per night and has a swimming pool and rooms are nice

I find Sandy Springs noisy......the single lift irksome and some of the staff bolshy and the dvd hire price a rip off.............I stopped staying there..........and the smoke alarms beeps all night.............the chubby smug bitch on reception was very unhelpful and most of the rooms don't have there own safes. It's one of those hotels that just does not like farang, full of Russians, Israelis, Arabs, and loud Brits. I wouldn't like farang if i worked there.

Depends on how much you want to spend. At 600-700 clean no pool Soi 13

Eastiny Place on Soi 8. Very good value and girl friendly
