The confusing Chanote (land title deed)
Although a foreigner is not allowed, by law, to own property and land (apart from a condo on
the Thai/Foreigner share) it should be noted that if you are given the opportunity to look at
a chanote, for whatever reason, it does not identify the land by an address. It is totally confusing
to understand how you can tie the chanote to an address when the address does not appear
on the chanote.
Can anyone help clarify further ?
