I think I might have to get this device before my next trip. In short it's a device that can connect with your smart phone. The cool part is the device will rotate left-right and up-down based on where you move. In other words you will always be in frame. It's a little expensive at $179 but it just might be worth it.

I don't know how much you can use it in Pattaya, may be some good videos in your room but defiantly worth buying.

It would be a little hard to attach the tracker to yourself if you are naked.

Wow I can't believe it's being talked about on here! I actually saw when they had just designed the prototype of this and Shaycarl on YouTube was talking about being the sponsor...I think the initial name for it was the santora or something.

It will also support and provide follow functionality to tripod enabled pocket cams (Flip Cams, Point and Shoots) under 6 ounces. Swivl is not compatible with iPhone 3GS or older, iPod (non-camera versions) and iPad.

 

Android Devices

 

Swivl is not enabled to work with Android software at launch. However, our basic following capability will function without any mobile phone software. Our phone holder is compatible with Android phones that have a thickness of under 11mm.
