Apartment on soi 13.

looking for a serviced apartment around soi 13 area,any ideas,for 2 weeks.cooking facilities a must,just been told i have diabetes,so gotta watch what i eat.

been a diabetic for 20 years since i was 17 been going to pattaya 11 years and just eat anything,eat a lot of thai food which i think is fairly healthy and buy alot of it from street vendors.it is as cheap to buy it this way as cooking for yourself

Whitehouse Condhotel in Soi13 has seviced apartments (suites), kitchen with fridge/freezer cooker and microwave, lounge and bedroom with beautiful bathrooms. A bit expensive. Less expensive is the Golden Crab also in Soi 13.

Inn of the Crab has weekly, monthly rates with apts and kitchens. And it's on Soi 13.

Iron you will find the chillies in the food help keep your glucose levels lower than UK meds are avail easily and if on Soi 13 the Haven does lots of food you will be used to. As has been said the local food is great though.

 

One big tip is to be wary of diet drinks etc make sure you see the can. A few days of high bg numbers can leave a nasty bout of thrush which isn't the thing you want in patts. Ruined my holiday once before I knew I was diabetic
