Information needed. Exchange rates

Hi all,

Is thier anyone in Pattaya at the moment who can see what the difference is between the rates for Sterling and Sterling T/C's.

 

I know i get a slightly better rate with T/C's . This time i will be opening a bank account straight away so would like to know if the difference makes it still worth while against the charge.

It is about 0.3 baht difference.

That is exactly what i needed. Looking at that it makes no sense for me to get T/C's as with charge i will be worse off.

You are right the charge offsets any savings and I had Bangkok Bank refuse to cash 10 x $100 travelers checks because in their opinion my signature in both places did not match. Even though I had passport and drivers license. I had to take them back home to my bank to get them refunded. Never again will I use travelers checks.
