I am planning to visit pattaya in May 1st week . Which visa is better and cheaper .

 

1. Visa from india.

2. OnArrival visa in bankok.

I assume with the flag you are an Indian national?

Website below says visa on arrival for Indian National is 1000bt

I get my Visa done back home and i don't have to wait for a hour+ to get it done.

 

Doesn't cost much of a difference if you coming for tourist stuff and 15 days is the maximum days to stay!!!

from india visa on arrival is cheaper comes to 2200 rs but its only valid for 15 days. if u get it done in india through some agent might come upto 2800 rs which i am paying and is valid for 1 month.

Better get it before you arrive. It will save you at least 30 minutes and you won't have to look at those old Thai dudes at the visa-on-arrival counter who don't seem to know that this is the Land of Smiles.

Hello all,

 

For those who are chinese plese know most airports in China will not allow you on the flight to thailand with out a visa already in your passport. It is true if you don't have one Chinese can do visa on arrival however that does you no good if you can not board your flight.

 

We highly suggest you get your visa before your trip for all who are chinese. It takes about 5 days to do in china.
