Going to Bangkok for one night ( on my own ) Where would you advise to go for that night ? Somewhere safe ( newbie as well :-) ). Stayin near soi cowboy. How much should taxi be ? Cheers

At Soi Cowboy, visit Tilac, Sharks, and Baccara. 35 baht taxi to Nana Plaza, visit the Rainbow Bar trifecta.

You don't need a taxi if you're staying near cowboy...BTS runs from next to Nana, 3 or 4 stops to Cowboy...forget the name of the station..it does stop shortly after 11pm though from memory...

Taxi from Suvarnabhumi Airport should cost less than Bt300.

Make sure he puts the meter on.

Best to roll up at the taxi rank when exiting the airport, the girls there will give a paper to the driver so usually no pompem.

 

Walking between Soi Cowboy and Soi Nana is best, that way you can get to see all the goings along Sukhumvit Rd.

World's best Cafe strip, after 2.00am.

Try Akane (Soi 33) before going to Soi Cowboy or Nana. A session there with two girls is very relaxing.

Incorrect: Nana and Asok (the BTS/MRT station for Cowboy) are adjacent stops on the Sukhumvit BTS line. It stops running at 24.00hrs.

For Cowboy, I'd add Doll House and Suzy Wong. Note that Nana has four Rainbow Bars: 1 & 2, ground floor right hand side; 3 first floor left side, tucked in the near corner and 4 first floor right hand side.
