On my last trip i stayed at Tim boutique hotel in soi 14 http://www.agoda.com.au/Hotel_Deals & found the facilities, service & location to be excellent. I booked through Agoda & paid AUD$60 per night (incl taxes) that's around 1900b per night.

It's a girl friendly hotel (only 1 girl at a time)...the girls at the front desk have excellent English skills & were very helpfull with any questions i had. The location was outstanding...being close to so many bars only 2nd rd, for eg: Soi Honey,Soi Diana,LK Metro,Soi 10 beer bars & the beer bars complex were Toys beer bar & Martinell bar is.

I highly recommend this hotel for its professionalism & politeness towards customers....here are some pixs.

I had one of the back rooms so i had no balcony but had a closed off area to have a smoke...the other pixs are looking down towards the beer bars on 2nd rd.

I stayed at ViewTalay 6 for 2 weeks paid 1900baht per night ( normally 2500) has pool, close to bars etc...and I could take back as many girls as I wanted and it was on the 23rd floor over looking the ocean, even do my own cooking if I wanted too. I know where I would prefer to stay ! Got mine thru Dancewatchers. :10of10Score: ...oh and its has wifi as well

Good hotel. Only thing that bugs me about this hotel is they don't have free wifi... kind of a deal breaker for me...

I know that was a downer for me & the GF as well...we would've liked to receive free wifi & down load music to our phone's (like we usually do)...but not to be

I have found that for the same price I can get better so i only come here to use the pool to chill through the day, 100 bht at the reception gets you good towel and one soft drink, they play the same cd`s over and over so take some yourself ! Horizon pool is no swimming allowed. Nice place all the same.

I stayed in this hotel two weeks ago, and I only have great things to report! I loved my time here. Excellent staff, great location. Far enough away from WS for light sleepers like me, and a 5 min baht bus ride to all of the action!

TIP: Eat at this restaurant! Outside of breakfast there are hardly any customers, but don't let that deter you! I ate either lunch or dinner here every day of my trip with no regrets. Completely underutilized, and a great value for the money.

Here's a picture of my room.

They give you free WiFi if you book direct , but THB 350 for 24 hours was fine , it didn't run out and I was there for 10 nights

If it floats, flies or fucks It's probably cheaper to rent ...

350 baht for 24 hours of wifi!!! WTF!!!

^ Most of us would not be in the room looking at the Internet for 24hours .....so it will easily last you a couple of weeks

it was the hotel I stayed in on my first trip and I've never bothered staying anywhere else any other trips, i like to start my nights with a few drinks in tim's bar as well so its handy for that.

There are no chicks with dicks, only guys with tits  :D

I also stayed at Tim's for a week in february. The best thing about it is it's location (central AND quiet) and the staff. There is both a gogo bar and a beer bar 20 meters from the entrance, close to LK Metro, a beer bar complex 50 meters away, 5 minute walk to BR and 5 minute with baht taxi to WS. The WiFi should be free, but as someone already said 350 Bahts should last you a couple of weeks if you don't sit and watch porn 24/7. Personally I think the rooms were OK (nothing special) but the bed was too hard for my back - great for fucking, but for sleep not so much (I always woke up with back pains).
