Visit the auctioneer in Jomtien, Chayapruek 2 Road. They've got lots of nice furnishings for little money, and other useful stuff too. That's a beautiful condo in the first post, but the rent is high. My condo is as nice as this, a little smaller at 62sqm, comparable premium furnishings, washing machine, 42" HDTV etc. Our pool is 3 times wider and probably longer, and the gardens substantial. Good view from the top floor so far, not much longer because the construction of a 30 storey condomium right in front will start any day now. 10,000 Baht per month in Jomtien. Will leave it soon nonetheless. Where the hell is luxury in living in a building that looks like all the modern condominiums, a storage rack, with lots of construction works all the time, and the number of screaming Thai kids seems to multiply every month? Gonna get a house, end of story.
