it will work fine...if it has a blocked esn just pay one of those sites $10 for the unlock code and it will be cleared on any network (i am guessing this is a gsm/sim card phone?) i have done this several times before...always works

If it's locked to a service provider no pompen.

If it's 'blocked' because it's been reported nicked or lost then that's different.

I had a blocked Blackberry 8900 and got it unblocked in the UK for £10, i needed to know it was working before i returned to LOS hence getting it done in the UK rather than LOS.

with bb...even if it was reported stolen the esn unlock will clear it and make it use-able on any gsm network. was a sales rep in a previous life and sold phones on the side for 50% of my income. try cellunlocker.net

Fairy Nuff. I thought it was more complicated than that using the serial number - dunno.

if it is a cdma network phone and reported lost/stolen then u cant do shit aside from reprogramming the entire phone which is hard and results in failure most of the time...gsm (takes a sim) is not as complex and there are many work arounds. used to have people lose their phone, file insurance for a new one, locate lost phone and sell to me cheap as hell since they thought it was trash...unlock and reset then sell as new. never had a problem with gsm and blackberry is especially simple since they use just a one line unlock code.

So can you get me one. :hello09:

A friend of mine did an insurance scam on his own phone (not sure which make) so they blocked it.

He got it unblocked OK, but then when he went to update the software or re-format, it just ate all the data.

Yes or not?
