Chilli Dogs and Cheese Steak

on my last trip i went to Subs and Suds for chilli dogs and philly cheese steak. Now it appears they have closed when i checked it out yesterday.Any other place in pattaya where i coul get them?

 

 

plus some other questions

 

1.Blue Parrot or Tequeila Reef for Mexican? or third better option?

 

2.Is the Golf Club the best place for American food, Hard rock Cafe better?

 

3.There is great Thai food everywhere but does anyplace standout out for anyone or particular dish stand out?

 

 

Answering any of the questions would be much appreciated i am currently in Pattaya and there is so much choice with food can't decide which places to go to. I love Thai food the most but watching Man vs Food has got me really into the American food!

Always go Native when abroad and steer away from the Foods you mention

 

Regarding Thai any street food is outstanding and I often go into the small place just at the start of WS under the Arch on the right hand side.

 

Very spit and sawdust but food cheap never had a bad bit of grub yet.

 

All the Taxi lads use it and a lot of Girls but English is not really their thing so a little Thai will help or failing that a point and pray method

yeh i love the thai food as well and eat it everyday. But i do like to try some other things while i'm here esp much of the american stuff that isn't available in Oz.

Its called Lone Star and run by the same people that have China Garden and the Jolly friar.

Hopefully it is just shut temporarily because the sign was still up i will check today as it is close to my hotel. Is this Lone Star Place any good for American food or do they mostly do just steaks which i don't really care for

Thanks for that! They don't have chilli dogs but they have some other things on the menu i'm interested in.

i went there too and it was fine the only reason i felt sick is that i tried to eat that Giant Burger in that eating challange. I went to fast and failed!

Tez, Ive eaten at Tequila reef several times. The chili dog was pretty good and the burritos are good sized. Prices are moderate. Cant really recommend another place since the only other place Ive tried that had tex mex items on their menu was Bobs, and they have been closed for a while now. Havent tried Lone Star yet, but I had good food at one of Ian's other restraunts, Jolly Friar, so I would assume that the quality would be pretty good at Lone Star too. Hope subs and suds in open again when I come back next month.

I've been to tequila reef but i didn't know they did chili dogs. I got a chili dog from the Golf Club and they also have philly cheese steak so i will have to try that as well. I will try the chili dog at tequila as well. Since you say it is pretty good i'll take your word since your from America home of the chilli dog!

most americans don't rate the American food in pattaya so this sounds promising.
