So I emailed greenview asking about room availability, and no answer for like 3 days.....:(

Anyone else emailed them ?

Is it already quiet enough just to show up and have reasonable odds of actually getting a room ?

Posted

you should be able to just walk in and get a room. not sure if is anybody speaks english there now.

Soi 15 WS, I like the location better than jasmine because you can get faster and easier to 2. road and to baht bus route, and you are not that middle in to the madness of ws.

It is also bit more quiet than Secrets imho.

I had a look at GV on the last trip (or was it the second or third last) - great location but old smelly dated rooms. Seriously call LEK hotel - great spot, good crew. 850-1600 standard room old building - pool view room pool building.

With Thai oriented hotels such as these, seems better to call direct.

The rates for this place are not very good at 1400 for a standard and 1500 for a deluxe. http://www.thegreenv...php?p=roomrates

I emailed them like month ago and real rates are still 800 for standard and 1000 for deluxe. Those "internet rates" are just something...

I really like WS gh for atleast first week, you can take extra shit or shower so easily in the middle of night. I know baht bus to soi 13 is very small annoyance, but still...

The Greenview hotel on Soi 15 off of Walking Street is open again after just finishing a room remodel.

ST - 500 baht - 3 hrs ( no kick-back to the girls)

Daily rate - 1,000 baht

a lot of hotels seem to be real slow to answer e-mails

I usually end up calling and then I get my response right away
