Sent a email to BPH and received a reply 20,000 plus another 1500 doctor fee

Sounds little off to me.

I paid 15000 for the shoulder and for specialist 1200 for the first visit.

Check out memorial, its cheaper.

Also pay BHP a visit, because sounds like person replying to emails may not be up to date or just quoting higher prices.

Just had neck xray the other day, only 1000 baht(i realize its not an MRI) but on the site they quote 2000-3000 baht, for an xray, where in fact it was only 1000 baht.

I can think of one reason or way to get a cheaper price, go there and register as a patient, may be price for registered patience is cheaper than email enquiry's

Only in BHP there's an MRI, not in the other hospitals in Pattaya. That's expensive hardware. Don't know about the hospitals in the other towns.

Because I had insurance and the insurance pre-negotiates some prices with BPH, my MRI cost 10,800 plus 800 for doctor review. I believe the regular price was 14,xxx baht as well.

I've had 3 MRI scans at BPH 2 x shoulder 1st at 14,000 2nd at 11,000 doctor fee 1,000 each time.

I had my knee scanned last month for 10,500 plus usual doctor fee of 1,000.

It seems they will discount if u ask or are registered with them, I get my blood work done once a month there too for 800 all in, which includes RBC and hemo levels too!

BPH is pricey but the level of service is top quality as are the treatments, I wouldn't reccomend going anywhere else!

As long as you know what to expect............ you'll love it!!!!

Just to let anyone interested know I went to this place http://www.mrithailand.com . Waited about 40 min as I was a bit late for my booking. 45 min doing MRI cost 8000 baht. Paid 400 Baht more for a consultation on the results. They gave me the scans and a disk copy plus report.
