Thailand ain't a good place for Drugs mate and they have to pay a lot under the table to escape from this mess.

The good lesson is stay away from Drugs. Any kind of drugs. It is not even worth trying.

Hard to believe the level of stupid in this.

I've seen it before though. One time I was sitting in a open air bar/hotel on Pattayaland (forget which one - next door to Lewinskis Hotel). And a guy staying there who spent every waking hour sitting in front drinking lit up a cigarette. I immediately smelled it. I asked him what he was doing he laughed and said everyone does it. I said not me and left. I didn't even want to be NEAR him the stupid fuck.

But then, he was so stupid he drank so heavily they had to take him to the clinic and put fluids into him intravenously. His eyes turned yellow as his liver shut down. Once they cleaned him up he was right back to it. And he was in his 20s I think. I doubt he reached or will reach his 40s.

We know it's stupid because we're Thailand regulars.

But for occasional vacationers, they see whores everywhere and lenient attitude about everything, and they presume that this attitude will extend to a little bit of pot as well. You can't really blame them for this logic.

You're fuckin' nicked me old beauty!

Seriously though, a bit of weed is nothing to us but this is Thailand. It sometimes beggers belief that people dont know the score (no pun intended) in LOS and still get caught by the police for the most dumbest things.

Could prove to be expensive for the culprits..

Apparently it doesn't occur to some people that all the other hookahs aren't full of marijuana.

Well, if you're coming from Full Moon Party - for example - you might be under the impression that everyone in Thailand lights up and it's perfectly legal. Lots of people have incorrect perceptions about the country they are travelling in. A lot of mongers here think that prostitution is legal in Thailand, for example. Even more think they can legally pay for sex with 18-19 year old, also.

i saw some ruskies in bamboo the other day on something, one older guy and a younger guy, there jaws were going ten to the dozen, i coulod not take my eyes off them it was so obvious, it was ridiculous, anyway a bit later this other ruskie came in a bit muscly in blue vest and jeans and i seen him giving them some thing else quietly, first thing i thought was they think there the kiddies, but if they gort caught and the dealer would`nt be so cool then, not even worth trying to dabble in anything like that, beers enough for me, lol

I have a scenario I was wondering about: what if you are a smoker back home, but know not to do so in Thailand. You are in a club, and the police do a random round up of people and start testing on the spot. Obviously, you will produce a positive result, but you have not consumed anything in Thailand. What do you do/what happens in this situation??

you get arrested and pay the price :GoldenSmile1:

ignorance can not be used as an excuse, in earlier days they use to shut down nana in bkk and test everyone, including the foreigners. many were arrested and paid huge "fines"

That looked like some pretty shitty weed as well. Don't do any drugs in Thailand. Come to the USA to do that!

They can either pay up very quickly or face the full force of Thai law . They are a very arrogant bunch and they need to be taught to respect other countries laws
