How's this for rotten bad luck

Good to hear that you're getting better. Did the Dr give you anything so you can sleep at nite without coughing? When I had my cough I was alright during the day, but when I would lay down I would start coughing and it would keep me up all nite. So I wouldn't get a good nights rest, which would contribute to it taking longer to get better.

Bacterial lung infections post flooding definitely seems plausible.

Yes she did, I got some fat jelly like caps to stop coughing, take one before bed, plus another pre-bedtime pill which I suspect is a generic valium, it feels like valium when it kicks in and makes me feel nice and I get a good kip. I realize taking valium can become habit forming but when the illness is over soon I'll have no need for further valium.

Thanks for your kind wishes.

Go to the pharmacy and ask for prednisone. It will fix you up in 2 days,

Thanks for the tip. I'm feeling well now but have kept a copy of your post for next time.

Most of this shit you catch, you get on the airplane, sitting in a confined space for hours at a time, breathing in the exhalations of your fellow sickened passengers. Airplanes are equipped to bring in outside fresh air which would alleviate this condition considerably, but the airlines refuse to do so as heating the outside air which is -40 F uses more fuel. I would rather they slow the plane from 550mph to 500 mph and bring in outside air to lessen viral infection. They ought to distribute anti-viral face masks when you get on the plane. Those stews must have one hell of an immune system.
