Hey guy are there any surfers on this forum and i mean those who actually surf the waves on the beach, not on bed wtih thai women...

 

Saw couple of videos on the net people surfing in Phuket. Anyway idea where to go? and how far away from Patong just in case.

Try the above site.... It's easier than giving you a run-down of all the breaks.... Kata beach is the "centre" of surf action and you can hire baords there, however it's not viewed by many to be the best break. The best time to surf is around May-November. but don't expect conditions like Australia or Bali.. it's very hit and miss and the waves can lack power.

After Jomtien there are good wind conditions to practice and learn Kitesurfing.

Each time I go there I can see kitesurfers flying on water and in air.

I want to learn one day.
