Car Rentals Bangkok

Need a car/dual cab for at least 10 days from late Jan/early Feb. Would prefer to rent it out of Bangkok but Pattaya may be fine especially if the price is right. Want something decent so nothing too small.

 

Finding that rental companies operating out of the airport seem to be more expensive than ones located in bangkok.

 

Any recommendations or advice?

have used both Avis and Hertz at the airport both were priced about the same as i could get from Bangkok and made it a lot easier to pick upand drop off at the airport. With Hertz i picked up at the Bangkok and dropped off at the airport.

I cannot understand Desire to rent car, taxis are cheap and traffic is mad its got to even out and if you drink you are safer, have a fender bender with alcohol on tourist breath you are in deep trouble.
