Thank you!

I knew most of it but I have been trying to work out how to say the bloody time for so long!

At least with this I have. Guide on how to say it...then it's just a matter of working out the tones.

No problems Mate.

My Thai has gone from Crap to very Poor 5555 and over half the time, God only knows what I say !!! but the Girls seem to get some of the gist of what I am asking / saying.

A word of warning though of which I am sure you are aware, a lot of Girls get unsettled if they know you understand a bit of Thai.

Not sure why ? 5555

Well with a FL Mate I have always found after saying Hello, to just be upfront for that ST round so as it sounds Pom Yak Die Boom Boom. Pom Yak Die Sucky Sucky. Pom Yak Die Fucky Ass Kob Coon Crap These Three Phrases have stood the test of time and equal, I would like a Blow Job or Shag Anal or Vag Thankyou.

Try it works a Dream 5555

Enjoy your Trip

What a great post! I think this should be made a sticky.

Thanks for that

Thanks Mate for you kind words. As you can see the ethos on PA is to offer help and advice which hopefully I and others do from time to time.

It has been said by many others that learning or at least knowing a few words, helps stop the Newbie standing out quite so easy as a Mark.

And everybody loves somebody trying. The Thais may Laugh when we attempt the Words but the big difference is they Laugh with you not at you.

Nice idea but if you don't know the correct tone to use along with the words they don't work. Sway as it's written means unlucky for example. Suay is closer but not definitive.

Yeah I take your point and am working on a true idiots guide 555

Half the Fun I think though is having a bash as to how it may or should sound and I still often get it wrong 555

Well the flip side is, knowing how superstitious the girls are it will be great to see their reactions when all the newbies start telling them how unlucky they are.

Important tip,(ma) can mean come, dog, horse, depending on the tone u use,so if you say to a girl ma Lao depending on tone you could be saying dog quick, and so on took me ages to get it right and I still fuck it up sometimes, the best saying I learned when I first went to pattaya was(pom luk khun naan krup tilak cha) means( i tell you I love you darling)

Mate you and me both.

Hopefully if you are trying, the Girls or whoever, may get the Gist of it. Always found that it is a real Ice Breaker having an attempt at the Lingo, and has the Girls in fits of Giggles with them getting me to repeat what I am saying to friends they call over 5555

God only knows what I am saying Half the time, but never had an issue with what, or how I have said things, in all the many Years travelling to the LOS

This is true but I think a lot of the girls understand what you're trying to say from context.

Good job mate ! How long time you wrote it? I am sure some of newbies BMs use your small dictionary. But I have to say pronunciation in Thailand language is swine and very important unfortunately. :P

Nice list for the newbies but isnt 2000 = song paan? This might be awkward for a guy offering a girl 4000 baht (si or see pan) thinking he only has to kick out 2000 baht. Don't mean to be nit picky but just wanted those to know.
