So got my email saying my flight time was changed ,SO instead of a 3 hour Manila layover , it turns into a 13 hour layover.

Instead of getting to BKK at 2030 , i now miss the whole night and arrive BKK 0520 the next day...

What should I do rebook on another airline fromn MNL to BKK? getting me to BKK that night and Pattaya in due time for my nightitme festivities? OR

Keep same flight and spend 13 hour dreadful layover in MNL.?

Help

I have looked at flights and I can rebook for $350-$450....

Are they covering the cost of the hotel?

If they are why not have some fun in Manila with a cute filipina lady during your stop?

I was in an identical situation on my last trip. I got the same email about 3 weeks before departure and it had the same implications. However, since it was the airline who made the change, they agreed to cancel the ticket and refund all the money, and I simply purchased a new ticket with a different airline that got me into BKK on the evening I wanted. Not only did I not lose any money, but the new ticket ended up being USD 100 cheaper than the original one. I would try calling the airline or travel agency that you had purchased your ticket with, explain the change that was made by the airline and that you already have firm plans and have to be in BKK that evening and see if they refund the cost of the whole ticket-nothing to lose by asking.

I agree with both of the above. They changed flight times, they cancel and refund you, or spend some time in the bars in Manila with a cutie. You can get a short time room there very cheap and if you like to risk money in a casino, there's one across the street from the airport.
