Brands of insulin available?

I have a friend coming to Pattaya soon who uses injection fast insulin and he has a couple of questions.

 

He is going to bring his own supply but in case he stays longer or runs out:

 

What brands of fast acting injectables are available?

 

I'm guessing Chemists wouldnt carry these in stock so a trip to a hospital would be needed? Would a letter from his GP suffice?

From experience fast acting like nova rapid in pen form is not available in Thailand but if you go to the hospital they will give you a rapid form of insulin but it will in bottle form and you will have to use a needle hopefully this helps
