Can Any Place in the World compare to Pattaya Walking Street?

Bangla Road is a close second. I cant think of anywhere in Europe.

Pattaya is the only one i think.

Pattaya is unique.

Some places try to copy (e.g. Walking Street sign now in Fields Ave. in AC too), but still no place to compare to Pattaya.

Nevertheless I feel the changes going on (more family oriented etc.) will have an impact that might finally cost Pty its position.

Perhaps I should venture, Sosua, Dominican Republic?

 

Though quite undeveloped, like Pattaya twenty years ago?

Also, girls are quite different (looks), though still lovely to Mongers.

 

Used to be a nice place back in the nineties, dominicans and lots of pitch black Haitians coming over the border. By far not as many as in Pattaya, but more quality. It's a laid back place with better beaches, the great cervezo Presidente, good cigars and fine rum. The sea is clean, and the food good. Best places to pick up girls are the diskos, and caribbean tunes are certainly better than the dreadful noise that goes for music here. To get around on dirtbikes or jeeps along the beaches, or on horseback is fun too. The expats and tourist are not the geriatric society of Pattaya, but folks in their twenties and thirties. Apart from the sheer number of pussies in Pattaya and shopping, everything was better over there. Gonna love the airport just a couple of miles from Sosua, you passed all the checks in 5 min max. Haven't been there for 13 years however, there might have been changes.
