help finding a good room

Hi

I need help finding a good room at a reasonable price.

I'm now on Agoda. But this site really bad. It does not give the information whether a hotel is guestfriendly.

Or is there air conditioning in the rooms.

Will apriciate some help.

I will arive pattaya on the begining of january ( the dates is not final yet).

Things that are a must!!!

1) guestfriendly (obviously)

2)Air-conditioned

3)in room safe

Preferable

1)wi-fi

2)Close to Walking Street but far enough to be able to sleep (wishfull thinking)

3)if not close to Walking Street so atleast on a baht bus route to it (actualy this needs to go to a "must" category)

4)Generally not a bad place (i dont wanna sleep on uncleaned Sheets)

I dont have much money so my hard limit is 1300 baht a night.

I know its not much couse its high season...

A good example is canterbury guesthouse been there two nights 1.5 years ago .

Could use any help as ive been in pattaya only 3 days.

Thank you.

"Forgot to mention ill be staying approximately 21 days"

The exact same can be said for Jasmine hotel, which is also off Walking Street. I have long stayed at both, and can equally recommend both. Good value for money.

Secrets hotel Soi 14 http://www.secretspattaya.com/

Jasmine hotel Soi BJ http://www.jasminehotel-pattaya.com/

Both have the 7 items on OP list

Try looking around the LK-metro area. So many good places there.

Use the search button mate, and there are heaps of information to your question.

If it was me I would stay at Irish Rovers or Billabong in LK Metro.

where is this lk metro area???
Look for bars 50 thru 55 on excellent map posted here: http://www.pattaya-addicts.com/forum/topic/93023-2012-latest-barhopping-guide-map/ Fun area, cheaper than WS (bars and lodging), but returning from WS you have a 5 minute walk along Soi Diana after riding Baht Bus on Second Road. Getting to WS is even less convenient, from best to worst: 1) Baht Bus along Soi Buahkow to South Pattaya Road and walk 5 minutes 2) Walk 10 minutes to Beach Road and quick Baht Bus to WS 3) Walk 5 minutes to Second Road and take long Baht Bus counter-clockwise via North Road roundabout to WS. Keep fingers crossed that your bus returns along Beach Road after that (Dolphin) roundabout. Edited by localguy
