hi can anyone reccommend hotel/guesthouse in or around soi buakaow priced about 1000 baht or less prefferbly with balcony ovelooking the street action.tea and coffee facility a plus, also any use of a pool in the surrounding area

Try Soi LK Metro http://www.lkmetropattaya.com/.

Most of the guest houses are under 1000 baht and many rooms have balcony. It's in the heart of action and just off of Soi Buakhow. All the best.
