MMS to Thailand

Hi Everybody!

 

Has anyone successfully managed to send to receive a multi-media message to or from Thailand? Do you have details?

 

I want to know if it is possible so my BG can send me pictures from her phone ;-)

i would like to know as well if its possible to send mms to los or receive.

Not exactly MMS, but I can send pictures from my Japan based phone to Thailand and I can also receive pictures.

 

To send pictures I go to 'create messages,' 'add recipient,' 'phone book,' choose the person and number (+66890......). Next I attach a picture, type a note in the text section and send. The only problem I have ever had is if the girl's phone is unable to receive pictures. I am not sure why this works but it does work. Maybe it will work for you. Give it a try. Also MMS needs to be 'turned on' by some phones, so ask your girl to make sure her phone is set-up properly.

yes, it works. from american to thailand its .25 cents.

 

dunno about the pics- only tried SMS.

i cannot send mms from Thailand to Australia on 1-2-call.

 

ive heard others are unable to as well.

I tried sending a pic from Pattaya to England last week on 1-2-Call and it just 'sat' in the outbox. (Sorry DiscoCol )

I also had a problem Australia to Thailand and Thailand to Australia. I think it might be 12 call.

Have tried from Australia to Thailand several times to several different numbers. None have gotten through.

As far as I know MMS can only be send domestically, SMS you can send internationally, in fact you can even SMS via SKYPE or YAHOO to any mobile.

 

If someone can find a online provider to send MMS that would be Sweeeeeeeeeet.. It is possible to setup a online MMS service if someone took the initiative to do it.

if she has MMS, then her phone should also be email capable. If it is, just have her send it through her phone email and you receive via the internet. That is how i was doing it. Skype also works great via the internet and costs nothing.......
