Is suicide a part of Thai culture as it is here in Japan?

 

Almost daily people throw themselves in front of trains. Especially on Mondays.

 

By the way, the family is charged a fine for making people late for work. And if you jump in front of a bullet train, your family will have to pay an extreme amount.

Yes, Fareng suicide jumping from buildings is part of Pattaya's Thai culture.

There have been a few cases of girls and even Thai couples(because family do not approve) jumping off tell buildings as suicide attempt..

Not long ago there was an incident in Phuket where a couple jumped off and killed themselves as Thier famalies did not agree..

 

A year ago I was at Patong beach with my TG late at night and had to drag out a Thai lady whom had a altercation with her boyfreind and was trying to drown..

 

I would not be surprised if this girl was told its finished or her BF was a butterfly and she found out.. Sometimes Thai girls do this crazy thing in Thailand.. My TG said its not a rare thing especially in the rural areas...

 

Hope age is ok and it all gets sorted.. Her BF must be shocked!!
