Been to Budha Hill last september...very nice place to stroll around and take some good pics for about 1 hour...Met some Indians guys there who asked us to take pics with us...

Thank you for the great pics.

I have been there last july on buddha day together with my

lady and we have a good time there.

 

She told me, i was the first man in her life take her to a temple,

she was very happy.

Nice pics,brings back memories, on all four of my trips I've made my way to this place, I like it although I have only been inside the temple once.

 

Looks much better now they seem to have tidied it a bit and touched up the paint on the Buddha statues and the Nagri (I think that's the snake things said to protect Buddha) :)

Buddha hill looks like it's past WS around where the Pattaya sign is? How much to get there in a baht bus/taxi? Is there any other temples to visit nearby?

Best way to get there is to hire a motorcycle taxi ... and get them to wait for you and take you back down!

Or just take his phone number & call him when you're ready to go. He can get on with making a living and they are happy to fetch a known fare later.

 

Lot's to see up on the Hill. The other temple with the admiral's statue is interesting and some nice park areas up there.

Damn, she told me the same thing!

 

Top tip, don't stroke the temple cats cos they'll scratch you.

My Pattaya budget is perfectly adequate as long as I don't spend any of it

Nice pics. I tend to end up on Buddha hill on a regular basis when in Patts. The quiet and the peaceful vibe there is really refreshing.
