i have an unlocked i phone 4 and have found a company that offers me a sim card at a decent rate so i can use my own number in thailand does anybody have experience of this

Mate trust me don't go down that route it is cheaper to use Thai sim if you still need to use your own number and can't handle using 2 phones as you can buy a phone for 850 Baht. You can also get a phone that takes 2 sims so you can dial out on Thai sim and use your number for incoming calls.

Far better Matey to buy a Cheap one out there that way if it lost or stolen then no problems. Trust me
