Yup I stayed in Amari Nova Suites last time and it was abit of a hassle to get around.

 

but for 2.2k baht for 4star hotel is quite decent.

I am planning to travel to Bangkok and pattaya in January 2012. Then I have a flight from the airport at 8:40 am Swarnabhoomi. Can anyone suggest some routes for travel in the early morning, other than a taxi. Is there another alternative to reach the airport at 7:45 AM, beginning before 6 o'clock.?

Bell Bus service. Will pick you up at hotel ( minibus)and take you to their bus terminal, then transfer you by coach to Airport. I've used them a few times.

Welcome to the board Johnny ! One question - why did you ask a bus to BKK question under the Centara Nova Pattaya thread ? No thoughts of putting it under 'Transportation' ? I find it absolutely remarkable that got the right answer from jonjo. wj
