Trying to find a decibel meter ie. something to measure sound loudness. Cannot seem to find anyplace as of now.

I use an android app on my phone, its not perfect, you really need to get a plugin for it.

I don't have an android phone, I have just a simple cell phone, no internet, no pictures, nothing but talk and text. Would like the decibel meter in my hand so I can measure sound levels in different locations around Pattaya.

I've got an iPhone app that was free from the App Store that gets me into the ball park. If you don't have a smartphone, I have seen some cheap, made in China standalone units on eBay.
