The Penthouse hotel & kitten club

I would appreciate opinions and any information about the two as the hotel is next and above the club. My friend who may want to buddy up for the trip said we should stay there. Input good bad or indifferent don't want to make a mistake first time out.

Used to stay there a bit but feel it has gone downhill, a mate stayed there in March but moved out after 2 days, room was smelly and dirty.

The kitten club used to be a great spot, very pretty girls and fantastic atmosphere, now it is pretty well combined with obsessions (lady boy bar) and the katoeys are pretty aggressive. If you are into Katoeys it would be ok.

Also, I walked past there 3 weeks ago and it looks to be undergoing major renovations, make sure these are finished by the time of your stay.

I've moved on to Secrets now, for me the bar has a nice atmosphere, friendly sexy ladies and the rooms are basic but clean.

Thank you! I was about to reserve there but it looks like there is a need to switch.

There is a lot of negative press about the PH hotel, but I actually had a very good stay. The room was very funky and fun...the sex swing was great. I would suggest a room without a jacuzzi, it's not necessary. The only thing I didn't like was the lighting was hard to turn off...I never figured out how to turn it all off and that got annoying. I also loved the indoor pool, it is great to take girls to. Just my two cents, but I think it's worth a stay for a couple of nights and then go somewhere else.

Happy Hunting,

Lex

I have just returned from back to Australia from my 7 night stay at the SPAM WORD hotel. Overall I found the hotel quite pleasant. Yes, they are currently renovations the hotel and there is a small amount of construction noise during the day hours. I stayed in room #416 which is listed as a Party Patpong room. I quite enjoy the random lines and design of the hotel; I agree it may not to be of ever bodies taste. I booked the hotel through their website and my reservation process was smooth and trouble free. They do take the girls ID card on entering the hotel.

There is a lot of mood lighting in the room , I mean heaps , their must be over 20 switches in the room for various lights , normal lighting , bathroom lighting , flashing lights , red lights , mood lights , a green light under the bed . Most of the ladies enjoyed the red mood lighting, maybe it makes them feel less self conscious. I had no problems connecting to my iphone to the in hotel wifi connection.

I liked the size of the room, but I did not use the Jacuzzi at any time. On planning my holiday i was thinking about all the fun things I can do in the spa but it just never turn out that way. I didn’t use the sex swing that was installed in the room .There is a Crome handle bar on the bed head , many ladies really got in the mood when they could see there reflection of them selves an me tapping them from behind , that device alone has provide me with many great memories. Aircon worked without any dramas. Breakfast in the ground floor restaurant was pretty standard American breakfast.

I mainly chose the hotel for the location, very close to Pattaya Beer garden, Walking Street, Beach road, and Baht bus route. I have worked in hotels for most of my life and maybe I have a different view of hotels than most, but I did enjoy my stay on this occasion.

Iaht, I agree with everything you said. I was also in a Party Patpong and didn't use the Jacuzzi, but I did use the indoor swimming pool and it was great!! I was also able to utilize the sex swing and it was pretty fun. I'm glad I wasn't the only one who felt like the sheer number of light switches were overwhelming. I am glad I only stayed for three nights and then moved to a room at Classroom A Go-Go.

I am planing to be in Pattaya in a few months and I am split on whether I will go to PH again or not. I think everyone should book a PH room at least once, even if only for a night or two. It is a blast to have sex in the swing and for the exhibitionists you can screw a girl in the indoor pool...it is built for erotic fun and the girls I brought down to the pool absolutely loved it!! It is really more like a giant jacuzzi than a traditional pool. Below are some pics from website for those who haven't been there, and it seemed well cared for...if not too much chlorine, but better too much than not enough. I don't know when the pool closes, but I was there with a girl until 2am and it was open. We had it to ourselves and it was a great time!!

na, the lady is a lady - Mam, now works Iron Club. she wasn't even working that night, I'd barfined her and a friend from Iron and she decided to show the girls at kitten how to perform. she did work in kitten a few years ago and that is where I met her, one of the craziest people I've met but a real sweetheart.

I stayed here for two days on my very first trip to Pattaya. The rest of the trip I stayed at Nova Platinum. The hotel owner's daughter has to be the finest girl i have EVER met in Pattaya. Very classy and nice. I think she is helping run the business successfully. I brought some Devil's Den girls to the hotel, which the girls later let me know that they are not welcome at this hotel so they make it a point to wear their Devil's Den shirts to the hotel. This place is a bit freaky and weird. I brought a girl back from Lucifers and she even seemed weirded out. Banged her and she left without me even giving her any money. :). The hotel's go-go has like two hot older chicks. They are older, but one has one of the best bodies I've seen in Pattaya. The LBs will harass you though, but if you let them know you're not interested they'll walk away. I personally would avoid their club. Check out their website and decide for yourself if you want to stay there. I agree with Lex110. A place you can experience for a day or two especially if you're new to Pattaya, but maybe not your entire trip. It depends on the person and what your preferences are. Contact the hotel if you have any questions. That is what I do for every trip I take anywhere in the world. It has actually gotten me a few free room upgrades.

For a newbie, I recommend a stay of about 1-2 days at PH, but beyond that check in somewhere else - lots of options.

I stayed there a couple of times in the past, but finally avoid it now - Boy's Town (exactly what it implies) is right in the next Soi) and the Kitten Club got overrun by Katoeys. It's worth it for the novelty effect for newbies, but there are better values to be had within walking distance as well.

Just my $0.02.

As far as I know girls are welcome from any bars, clubs, massage parlors and escort service providers. They can also wear whatever they like. No one cares or asks any questions. Why would they care? Guys stay here to get laid and they try to provide a decent setting for it. Quite simple.

Weird - a girl from Lucifers not enjoying herself and running out before you paid her. It normally works the other way for me with them loving it and not wanting to leave. Hope you paid her later.

Hey Frankieb,

Thanks for the input but haven't you got a cockroach infested hotel to run?

Business must be slow!

Hey Spursman,

Nice comment. The answer is no. Why don't you check it out? Nice one from Gareth last night.

LOL...Just read the replies today. Funny stuff. Well I must say the owner's daughter had to be the most beautiful woman I've EVER seen in Thailand so that was a definite plus. As far as DD girls not being welcomed...yes the DD girls were allowed in, but they claimed they usually get a bit hassled when entering which is why they make it a point to wear their DD logo attire when entering. I realize the hotel will let you bring any guests to your room so I wasn't badmouthing your establishment frankieb. I actually referred some friends to your place for next month. I think it's an interesting hotel to stay for a day or two for your first time in Pattaya. It's all good buddy. Your hotel is ok in my books ;)

] used to stay there, but got a bit pissed of with all the extras ( Tax , service ) added to advertised price. The kitten club was one of the best, but with the pool table having been replaced by the lady boys, no more. dose anyone Know if Brian is still working there?

Hi , I agree with many of the answers here . Maybe just stay a couple of days . I really think it should be experienced to be believed . The rooms really are quite amazing . This was the first hotel that I stayed at , in Pattaya , on my first visit . An experience that I shall never forget . The lighting , alone in the rooms is great . The staff were friendly and very helpful . I did not book but just turned up . I did not really know what room I wanted but the staff were very happy to show me around the hotel and a selection of rooms and suites . That was an experience on its own . I went for a room with jacussi . I stayed for 3 amazing days . The first night I went wild and barfined 5 kittens from the Kitten club . The jacussi was great fun as was the love swing the go go stage and pole . The mirrors over the head board and on the ceiling over the bed are really great and its a real turn on getting all those different views .... wow . The beds are quite high ... waist high actually . Which is good for some positions . There are metal grab handles all over the place . The kittens all seemed to have great fun and knew how to use the room to the MAX . I am still in touch with 4 out of the 5 girls from that fist fantastic night . Although none of them work there now .

The Pattaya experience is unique and the SPAM WORD hotel is probably the most unique hotel in Pattaya . Combine the two and get the ` Full Monty ` My advice is go there and enjoy the Pattaya experience to the Max .

I can see that it may not appeal to everyone . But if you are able to let yourself go and you get good girls you will have an experience that you never forget for all the good reasons . Believe me , normal , hotel rooms will look a little bland after a stay at the SPAM WORD hotel in Pattaya .

Just curious, how much was the barfine at the Kitten Club?

I would have to agree with the sentiment that it's worth staying here, especially for the novelty of it, which is particularly good for newbies. But once the novelty wears off, you can find better values.

No doubt, it's a fun, erotically charged atmosphere, with the red mood lighting, the mirrors, the sex swings and the dance poles. And it is probably the most unique hotel in Pattaya--the Cave style walls, totally unboxy rooms, decorative flourishes and all.

I haven't stayed there in years but maybe next time I will again for a few nights, for old times sake.

  • 5 weeks later...

could anyone post the price for a room with a jacuzzi. I saw the internet rates - what are the add on costs that have been experienced ? I am thinking about going and just walking up for a room on Monday or Tues - Nov 28 or 29 - Mon or Tues - is that worth trying or should I book online

A Jacuzzi walk in on the 28/29 Nov might be difficult. To be sure booking on line is the best way to go. The add ons are 10% Service Tax and 7% Government Tax. I think this is confusing and that they should review their pricing strategy. There are many different styles of Jacuzzi rooms with different prices. Maybe best to have a look at the website to see which type of room you like and then e-mail the hotel to check availability etc.

The picture (posted by ihat last month) is of room 517 a Babalon Spa Suite.
