Infinity Maze

The other day I decided to check out the Infinity Maze, located on the 3rd floor of Royal Garden, which is the 4-story shopping center stretching between Beach Road and 2nd Road.

With a 480 THB entry fee per adult (regardless of nationality), it's not exactly cheep. However, you can buy a 3-attraction pass for 790 THB per person, and a 5-attraction pass for 1,100 THB per person, which saves you a bit of money so long as you want to enter 3 or more attractions. The attractions are all located on the same floor of the shopping center, and include the following with the individual price for the attraction in parenthesis:

Infinity Maze (480 THB)

Louis Tussaud's Waxworks (580 THB)

Ripley's Believe It or Not (480 THB)

Ripley's Moving Theater 4D (300 THB)

Ripley's Haunted Adventure (480 THB)

Back to the Infinity Maze. Alone or in a small group, you will find yourself immersed in spectacular illusions, innovative lighting effects, sound fields, and atmospheric effected and mood setting music. The 20-minute journey is a challenge for some, and a breeze for others. The basic idea is to go through a maze of rooms where the doors are not readily identifiable (doors are often a mirror in a room full of mirrors, or a door that looks the same as the wall). Because of all the mirrors, each person must put on white shoe covers and white gloves prior to entering the maze. There are approximately 15 rooms, each decorated differently, and you pass from one room to the next as you make your way to the exit. It took my Thai date and I about a minute to get through each room. I probably could have run though the maze in record time, but let my Thai girl do all the door-finding and she had a good time doing so.

Photographs are not allowed, which is why you all only get a picture of the sign. Prior to going in, you should be aware that each room is monitored by CCTV cameras.

Aside from the other nearby attractions listed above, there are many restaurants at the shopping center, which makes the attractions and lunch a good way to spend an afternoon with your Thai girl of choice.

Never been in the maze because lady wanted to go on the moving theater rip off. Good day out here but if you buy the three attraction pass you only have two choices as the wax work museam is mandatory

I took a TG into the haunted adventure. After about 30 seconds she just sat on the floor, starting screaming and was rigid with fear !!!

I had to pick her up and carry her out. She didn't speak to me for 2 days 555

That's more expensive than similar attractions in Europe!!

No way they're getting me in there.

The price for a 3-attraction pass is 790 THB. Divide that by 3 and it's 263 THB per attraction...much better than 480 THB or 580 THB. Of course, that's only if there are 3 places that interest you.

Had I gone on my own, it wouldn't have been very entertaining, but it was fun for the Thai girl, which made it fun for me. That being said, if you think it's too much money, or not a fun place, then I'm glad you were able to realize that based on the report, rather than after paying your money and going inside the attraction. :)
