search function and 3 letter words

I find that the search on this forum is really bad and never seems to find anything with a 3 letter word. Alot of the girls have 3 letter names, so when say searching for pui who ive heard a lot about i get 0 results. Am i doing something wrong or is this a flaw in the search function.

Using Google will give you better results. This topic just came up recently. try looking in the tech section

It is the forum software. You can not search for works with 3 letters or less. I think doing so puts too much load on the server as it has to search through too much data.

Thats understandable. Only problem i see with using google is the same as what someone else mentioned, it probrably wont be able to access the advanced members area. Ah well im going to have to annoy people by asking for where certain posts are, then getting the old, use the search function lol.

As scumbag said, if I changed it to 3, it will be insane on the server. I already have no time limit on the search, unlike all other Pattaya forums.

I'm too lazy to try it, but on another pattaya forum, google will bring to to the advance section page, then you need to log in to view content.

If i search for a term why does it list the results in odd order, even after selecting the right way to order them aka from newest to oldest? Really pisses me off
